Cromie and Associates at Petre Dental
Surgery have welcomed a new dentist to the practice. Lisa Durning has been reunited with her old
colleagues for the first time in 14 years and is looking forward to welcoming
new patients to the practice also.
Lisa graduated from Manchester dental
school with honours in 2011, also receiving the outstanding academic
achievement award for the best performance over the degree, and the East
Lancashire BDA award for overall performance in the final year.
Since then she has had experience working in
paediatric dentistry, community dentistry, emergency dentistry and oral surgery
before settling into general dental practice.
Lisa enjoys all aspects of general practice, and
is especially good at treating anxious patients, helping them to gain
confidence and to meet their treatment needs.
Lisa recently gained her MFDS from the Royal
College of Surgeons of Edinburgh, winning the John Smith Medal for her
hill walking, reading and going to concerts in her spare time. Lisa originates from Blackburn and now
resides in the Ribble Valley with her partner and 3 children.
